Animals are just like us- they feel, love, fear and suffer! They have souls, pure and beautiful souls! They don't know what hate means, envy or detestation! They are God's creatures we all should respect!

I just wanted to share some pictures of my cute rabbits, who live a very relaxed and happy life. I have rabbits that do NOT have any cage. The live in the entrance hall while we are at work and can walk freely in the rest of the house when ...we are home again : ) I wish more people would do the same, as they are very gentle, smart and caring pets, not to mention clean ;) To all of you that are thinking of getting pets, remember that they have feelings like the rest of us, and depend on your love and care.

Chinese Activist Du Yufeng Closes Dog Slaughterhouse, in China

 

Du Yufeng has achieved so much in her home of Guangyuan in China. She has closed down dog meat slaughterhouses, butchers shops and market stalls selling meat. She has closed down restaurants selling dog meat and rescued the dogs, taking them to her shelter. She has worked with the local government to stop the culling of dogs to prevent rabies, instead implementing a TNVR programme.
For the last few years 90% of the expenses for running Bo'ai Animal Protection Center of Guangyuan in China were paid from the founder, Du Yufeng's previous savings and from Du & her volunteers selling their OWN houses. 10% of the costs are donated by caring people in China and abroad. We want to help her make that a bigger percentage. She has asked for international help, more dogs have been rescued from the meat trade, she is running out of space & fears she may not be able to rescue others in need.
